NVSBE Event Program

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Veterans Small Business Engagement (NVSBE) is a premier event. The largest federal procurement event of its kind, NVSBE enables business networking between procurement-ready suppliers and buyers (also known as Procurement Decision Makers (PDMs)).

This year’s event will focus on procurement opportunities pertaining to

  • Information Technology
  • Medical Supplies and Service
  • Specialty Supplies and Services

Confirmed Procurement Decision Makers (PDMs) and the opportunities they will showcase are now visible!  Select the tab on the top of this page titled PDMs/Buyers for more information.

VA construction and construction-related opportunities will be showcased at the 2019 SAME event:

This annual, large-scale, multi-day event provides participants access to nationwide procurement opportunities through hundreds of tailored, scheduled activities. To facilitate and encourage targeted networking and peer-to-peer dialogue, meeting areas are grouped in color-coded areas called Communities of Interest (COI). The COIs derive from North American Industry Classification codes and Product Service Codes. Referring to the color assigned to each COI will lead participants to the scheduled activities related to your business interests. The color assigned to each COI is as follows: Information Technology - Green; Medical Supplies and Services – Red; Specialty Supplies and Services – Yellow.

The activities occurring at the NVSBE creates an immersive market-research environment which includes opportunities at the Exhibition Hall. In the Exhibition Hall participants can meet vendors offering the latest innovations in products and services; engage in informal business conversations during Receptions occurring Monday and Tuesday evening, and have the opportunity to have lunch with other participants and PDMs.
